Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Special Education Application and Research Center became operational after being published in the Official Gazette dated 21.06.2021 and numbered 31518. Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Special Education Application and Research Center continues its work under the Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Rectorate and benefits from the knowledge and experience of its faculty members in its practices.
The aims of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Special Education Application and Research Center are:
a) To provide support services to individuals with special needs and their families, to conduct research and publications related to the field of special education.
b) To carry out practices and research to improve the living conditions of individuals with special needs, in cooperation with the relevant departments and departments of the University and other institutions and organizations operating regionally, nationally and internationally, within the scope of the relevant legislation.
c) To increase the efficiency and quality of educational services for individuals with special needs.
d) To organize national and international courses, conferences, seminars, congresses and all kinds of scientific events.
d) To organize activities that will contribute to the lifelong learning processes of educators working in these institutions by collaborating with public and private educational institutions that work with individuals with special needs and special education students, within the scope of the relevant legislation.
e) To contribute to the creation of policies for individuals with special needs.
f) To increase social awareness and awareness about individuals with special needs.
